Orsini Specialty Pharmacy Names Darin DeCarlo Chief Growth Officer
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL – August 2023 – Orsini Specialty Pharmacy (“Orsini”), a leading independent specialty pharmacy focused on rare diseases and gene therapies, announced today that Darin DeCarlo has been named the company’s first ever Chief Growth Officer. In this pivotal role, Darin will spearhead Orsini’s efforts to establish new partnerships with biopharma manufacturers and engage existing partners to grow our business.
Darin joined Orsini in 2022 as SVP, Industry Relations, and brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent over 25 years in various leadership roles within the biopharma sector. With an impressive background encompassing marketing, market access, sales, and commercial operations, he most recently served as the VP of Sales and Managed Markets at Acadia Pharmaceuticals. His background includes 20 years between Eli Lilly and Roche, plus several years with two start-up organizations that both moved to the commercial phase. Darin also spent 5 years at IQVIA, providing commercial services and launch consulting to large pharma and emerging biotech.
